The Email Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in executing outbound marketing programs that drive lead generation. Key responsibilities include: end-to-end development and deployment of e-mail marketing programs, creation of lead-focused e-mail offers, A/B testing, landing page development, program reporting, marketing calendar management, and project management. This position reports to the Firm’s Manager of Marketing Automation and supports the firm’s corporate, industry and service marketers as clients. The successful candidate will not only be well-versed in e-mail marketing best practices, but also can manage multiple projects simultaneously and with a client-service mindset.


Responsibilities:


  • Project manage e-mail marketing programs using the department’s Workfront management tool and maintain the e-mail marketing calendar
  • Interface with multiple marketing leads and the Manager of Marketing Automation to turn marketing and campaign plans into actionable e-mail marketing programs
  • Collaborate with other digital team members (website, social) and the firm’s content team to coordinate execution of marketing programs
  • Develop and implement successful e-mail marketing programs that drive engagement and lead generation in support of the firm’s corporate, industry, and service marketers
  • Support list management best practices and list segmentation across the marketing technology stack, create smart lists and support
  • Develop and deliver marketing automation metrics; interpret data; and produce reports against KPIs
  • Enhance and communicate e-mail marketing best practices
  • Set-up and promote external marketing webinars using the firm’s dedicated webinar solution



Required Skills and Competencies:


  • Strong project and program coordination skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to enhance e-mail marketing programs
  • Process oriented and quality focused with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills; a mindset for testing and using data to enhance program efficacy
  • Strong writing, proofreading and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks on deadline
  • Self-starter and quick-learner with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment



Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related course of study
  • 2+ years of experience with e-mail marketing, Marketo experience a plus
  • 2+ years of experience with event registration, drive to registration strategies
  • Expertise with database management and marketing automation reporting
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience working in a B2B or professional services environment is preferred
  • Proficiency in marketing project management and automation tools (Marketo, Microsoft CRM, Workfront) a plus
  • Experience with webinar-hosting platforms, HTML, and CSS a plus
