The Citrix Administrator position will work towards the common goal of the optimizing CohnReznick’s Citrix infrastructure. The Citrix Administrator’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, deploying and supporting all aspects of our server-based computing environment. He/she will apply proven collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems.

Chicago location preferred but we are open to other locations as well. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Administration of existing Citrix Cloud 7.15 LTSR infrastructure on a VMWare hypervisor 6.7. This includes all the feature sets of Citrix XenApp Platinum (Cloud Monitor, StoreFront, Provisioning Services, etc.) and other Citrix concepts and products (Citrix licensing, Citrix architecture, ADC’s, etc.)
  • Responsible for systems, network, and IPT administration including Windows Server 2016/2019, Terminal Services, Citrix Cloud 7.15, VMWare, etc.
  • Develop and maintain department documentation and action plans including policies and procedures, user guides and best practices
  • Work with Team lead on Projects
  • Manage escalations and communications at all IT levels
  • Mentor and cross train IT Team Members

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years working in Citrix Systems Administrator capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • CCA-V preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Citrix solution roadmap and Citrix application optimization 
  • Demonstrated Citrix hands on experience (planning, design, implementation, maintenance, etc.) is required.
  • Ability to manage escalations and communications at all levels of IT
  • Ability to research and apply product expertise in recommending solutions
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Willing to work as an effective member of a team, but capable of working independently to solve complex problems
  • Documentation skills and the ability to complete projects on time
  • Ability to mentor team members of other IT groups
  • Ability to work “off hour” schedule and in emergencies to support high availability initiatives of business solutions
