We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an IT Field Support Services Technician to join the IT Support Services Department.

YOUR TEAM.

The IT Field Support Services Technician will be primarily responsible for providing second level support, and some first level support, of Information Technology issues for the CohnReznick user community.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Acts as secondary point of contact for the firm’s Information Technology Team, receiving incoming requests from the IT Service Desk
  • Ability to identify and document solutions for knowledge base articles
  • Adheres to the ITSM processes in responding to CohnReznick IT support structure involving Incidents, requests, tasks, etc.
  • Provides first and second level support to troubleshoot and resolve issues involving hardware, software, connectivity, etc.
  • Coordinates with and escalates issues to the next level of support personnel as necessary
  • Utilize remote management tools to assist users and resolve issues
  • Provide White-Glove service to incoming Partners
  • Assist with folder activation access process for Chennai users
  • Manage critical tasks related to the firm’s onboarding/offboarding process including but not limited to:
    • Creating new AD accounts for new hires, external consultants as scheduled
    • Disabling AD accounts (users and computers) as scheduled/requested
    • Running script to terminate accounts as scheduled
    • Updating AD accounts to reflect correct changes (name changes, new titles, etc.)
    • Updating distribution lists
    • Creating Exchange accounts/verify accounts
    • AD hygiene
    • O365 administration (assign/verify proper licensing), delegation, forwards/autoreplies

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

Technical Requirements:

  • 4+ years of IT support experience in a Microsoft environment
  • 2- or 4-year degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
  • Knowledge of installation and maintenance of Windows 10 Enterprise Operation Systems
  • Basic understanding of Local Area Networking (LAN) and TCP/IP concepts, specifically within a Microsoft Networking infrastructure
  • Understand basic Information Technology security concepts. (Antivirus, Spam blockers, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, 2010/2016 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
  • Understanding of ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
  • Ability to manage support tickets, ensuring timely updates and resolution
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and a methodical approach to problem identification and resolution
  • Possession of CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications is preferred, not required

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in written form to all levels of Firm staff
  • Ability to work collectively with IT management and peers on projects
  • Capable of working independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Maintain an organized and efficient work area, including maintenance of supplies and equipment
  • Work in an effective, consistent manner maintaining quality assurance and compliance with established directives, policy and best practices
  • Maintain a professional manner and appearance in the workplace
  • Demonstrate integrity at all times both in and outside the workplace
  • Maintain the confidentiality, security and exercise the appropriate level of discretion regarding all firm issues and information
  • Accommodate flexible work hours, including Saturdays, during tax season
  • Occasionally travel to other office locations
