We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a National Events Marketing Specialist to join the Firm’s Marketing team.

YOUR TEAM.

Reporting to the Event Marketing Lead, the National Events Marketing Specialist implements events and helps oversee national event marketing programs that drive awareness and lead generation in support of the firm marketing plan. Charged with creating experiences and bringing visions to life, the successful Specialist will be adept at juggling many tasks.

As a member of the Operations Marketing Team, the successful Specialist will be well versed in project coordination/management, have experience contributing to and managing marketing events, and have the ability to build strong working relationships with practice professionals, business development, and marketing teams to maximize visibility, engagement and lead generation from existing clients and targeted accounts. YOUR ROLE.

Function as primary client liaison and assigned to national firm event programs. Manage corporate meetings and national events through the implementation of strategy, delivery of objectives and execution of logistics, while effectively working with internal/external clients. Responsible for coordination of program planning with Portfolio Marketing team from post-contract execution to final billing. Works closely with Marketing team to understand and meet program objectives/outcomes. Perform other duties as assigned by Event and Marketing leadership.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate all event program details with Marketing team and produce a program summary and agenda that outlines all program specifics and requirements.
  • Able to assist with any level of event including those of a complex nature, large volume, high level of confidentiality, international scope, etc.
  • Manage all vendor contracts prior to finalization, ensuring both program specific and generic terms and conditions are accurate and legally protective, including attrition dates, cancellation policies, etc. Monitor attrition dates, cancellation policies and ensure contracted services are executed.
  • Manage to an overall program budget set by Event Leader, review and audit all program related billing for accuracy. Track and report expenses to teams and communicate changes on a consistent basis. Work with Event Leader to forecast overall program financials to ensure monthly tracking for actual spend.
  • May require travel to destinations in support of client site inspections and/or event program operations.
  • May be requested to manage communications with Partners, C-Level special projects, and oversee VIP logistics/Incentives.
  • Review processes and offer solutions/additions as needed.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 – 5 years’ experience managing event plans in a professional services or corporate environment
  • Experience with drive-to-registration tactics and best practices
  • Experience with technology platforms such as Splash, Marketo, and Guidebook.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, including working with multiple stakeholders internally and externally, include venues and vendors
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently problem solve
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexibility for domestic travel, as needed
  • Effective time management including the ability to meet deadlines
  • Budget management experience
