We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Proposal Coordinator to support our National Sales & Marketing office.

This is a virtual position. A virtual position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. As a virtual employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client working, team meetings or training.

YOUR TEAM.

The Proposal Coordinator will support the preparation and submission of winning Government and Commercial Sector proposals. In this role, the Proposal Coordinator will work with cross-functional proposal team members in their strategic responses to RFPs, RFIs and RFQs. The Proposal Specialist should exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to generate creative ideas while working both independently and collaboratively.

The successful candidate is expected to be an initiative-taking, multitasker who works well under pressure, and follows through on tasks as this role is extremely deadline driven.

YOUR ROLE. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Support the development and submission of winning bid responses by working side by side with our proposal managers and specialists.
  • Research and gather information on the Client to support a well-executed customized proposal based on the Client.
  • Follow-up with stakeholders and teaming partners as needed to ensure a timely delivery of content and technical contributions to the proposal.
  • Work with Content Management Specialist to augment, enhance and improve library / knowledge management solution of reusable graphics, components, templates, and processes to reduce response time and improve quality on future bids.
  • Contribute to assigned process improvement initiatives and support implementation.
  • Review and analyze RFP, RFI, and RFQ documents to ensure adequate information for budget and proposal preparation is provided.
  • Work with cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests including legal, people and culture, marketing and sales, finance and learning and development.
  • Ensure that the proposal is free of grammar, spelling, and typographical errors.
  • Support the post proposal debrief process, set up meetings, take notes for areas of success and improvement, maintain a debrief schedule to allow for continuous learning and improvement across the whole proposal team.
  • Strong aptitude for improving process, organization, flow, readability, completeness, and clarity of engineering high P-win proposals.
  • Support the set-up of kick-off calls, and check-ins for each proposal.
  • Assist in development of materials for the Orals process including decks, placemats and talking points.
  • Assist in the customization of our proposals by mining our content, and graphics libraries.
  • Work with our CRM team to build a quals library.
  • Become a subject matter expert for the team in our content management systems RFPIO, Brandworks, CRM and PowerBI dashboards and reports.
  • Master the art of proposal shredding and compliance matrix production.
  • Support the proposal manager in ensuring forms are completed timely and accurately.
  • Assist in the collection and organization of our past performances, testimonials and case studies.

YOUR EXPERIENCE. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in relevant experience
  • 2-3+ years’ experience in proposal writing preferred
  • Experience/training with the Shipley Proposal process
  • Proven ability to work across organizations with effective communication, and project management skills.
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and spelling ability
  • Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment
