We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Communications and User Experience Specialist to join the Technology team.

The position can be 100% remote.


YOUR TEAM.

The Communications and User Experience Specialist will report to the IT Communications and User Experience Manager and work alongside a cross-functional team in the delivery of learning material and communications to CohnReznick business stakeholders and the Technology department. The Communications and User Experience Specialist will be responsible for working with subject-matter experts to create both written and recorded content for current and future solutions, developing and delivering training material, enhancing existing documentation, and assisting in project execution. The Communications and User Experience Specialist will also deliver alerts to the business (outages, maintenance, etc.) and partner with corporate communications to provide updates on technology-related issues.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develop documentation and training materials for both technical and non-technical users
  • Develop content for resource hubs for firm solutions or new business processes
  • Deliver fast-paced updates during changes (outages, maintenance, etc.) using various methods
  • Write news releases on new solutions
  • Edit and review documentation created by IT/Technology team
  • Generate new ideas for content that will benefit both the business and IT/Technology team, including micro-learning content
  • Partner with practice management on the development of learning material
  • Stay up-to-date on business processes and IT advancements
  • Assist with Business user training and IT/Technology training, including presenting material
  • Participate in QA and UAT on projects
  • Conduct meetings and deliver presentations to share ideas and findings
  • Assist with Firm town halls

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical field
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, including ability to discuss and write about technical topics for non-technical audiences
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • Training platform experience for micro-learning content, including some video editing
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and actively as part of a cross-functional team
  • Strong time management skills
  • Prior experience in Tax, Audit or Finance industries a plus
