We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Digital Strategy and Operations Senior Manager to join our team in the Strategy & Operations Advisory team.

This is a virtual position. A virtual position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. As a virtual employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client working, team meetings or training.

CohnReznick’s Strategy and Operations consulting team works across a range of core industries to define, execute, and realize shareholder value creation objectives for corporations and private-equity-backed organizations. Our practice helps clients face their most pressing and critical organizational, market, and customer challenges while serving as a trusted advisory to support execution.

You’ll be part of a team of strategy consultants and digital specialists helping clients tackle their most strategic issues, including how to create and execute defensible, future-oriented, and transformative value-creation plans. Our Strategy and Operations consulting team within the Digital Advisory Practice advises clients across core categories of Digital Transformation & Strategy, Customer Centricity, Channels, Pricing, and Cost Transformation using a holistic digital lens.  In doing so, you’ll support our clients answer key questions, such as “How will digital and AI disrupt my business model and marketplace?”, “What kinds of capabilities will be necessary to sustain our competitive advantage both today and in a future, increasingly digital world?”, and “How can I execute a plan across my commercial and cost capabilities to create and sustain shareholder value in light of a rapidly changing marketplace?”

YOUR ROLE.   

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Work at all levels of the client environment to find, articulate, and execute value-creation objectives
  • Lead hypothesis generation, analysis, design, and implementation of solutions, and own relationships with C-Suite clients
  • Help clients navigate their largest strategic initiatives and most critical problems at the intersection of business and technology, including digital disruption, enterprise transformation and innovation, global operating models, value management, M&A, and more.
  • Build and maintain consensus with clients on case goals, critical issues, workplans, implications, recommendations, and implementation plans. Develop and secure client commitment to recommendations and implementation plans
  • Cultivate talented groups of people and collaborate with multiple teams through management and mentorship
  • Effectively manage the formal and informal professional development of case team members by supporting appropriate skills development plans, providing coaching and regular performance feedback
  • Be intimately involved in each client’s organization and industry, working on complex business problems
  • Organize the work of the team by allocating clear responsibilities among team members while balancing the delivery of team goals with the professional development and satisfaction of individual team members
  • Contribute to the key firm-building initiatives (Practice/Capability area knowledge building and thought leadership generation, training, recruiting, coaching, practice initiatives, etc.)
  • Actively participate in practice business development and thought leadership initiatives

YOUR EXPERIENCE.   

The successful candidate will have:  

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience including demonstrated career progression to a Senior Manager-equivalent level at another consulting firm, or similar corporate environment
  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or MIS from a top program with strong academic results, MBA or MS preferred
  • Rigorous analytical skills, ability to excel at solving problems that require sound logical reasoning, creative thinking, fluency with numbers, and ability to untangle complex issues
  • Experience leading corporate strategy, value creation, commercial excellence, digital transformation, or channel/commerce programs
  • Highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, committed, and inclusive team player
  • Ability to exercise business judgment, communicate persuasively, and generate insights to build trusting client relationships
  • Ability to project poise, confidence, and professional maturity in both internal and external situations; engaging and concise with good interpersonal “presence”, comfortable both in the C-suite and team room settings
  • Demonstrated outstanding team management skills while working on complex assignments
  • Flexibility and ability to serve and address a wide range of client assignments
  • Articulate and compelling verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Insightful and creative individual with an affinity for data-driven insights into decision-making and a passion for a track record of demonstrable results
  • Great colleague, teammate, and mentor

In New York, the salary range for a Senior Manager is  $145,000 to $245,000.  Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
