We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Real Estate Advisory (General Ledger) Manager to join our team in the Technology+ Advisory team.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Leverage consulting experience within the Real Estate Industry to implement, troubleshoot, and lead data conversions for MRI, RealPage and/or Yardi core modules for commercial and residential clients.
  • Document, develop, implement, maintain, and deliver training on real estate solutions to internal and external clients. Evaluate client needs and develop specifications for software configuration and implementation
  • Analyze and solve day-to-day challenges with data and analytics/reporting systems, including research data and systems issues; resolve and/or prioritize issue resolution; proactively identify data quality problems and support solution identification; and review system performance; identify and recommend improvements specific to commercial real estate
  • Collaborate with end-users to gather functional and technical requirements and ensure proper testing/validation
  • Provide consulting assistance on each project through all phases to ensure a successful project: from initiation/planning through execution/delivery
  • Work with all team members and project stakeholders on the plan, roles, constraints, milestones, and critical path. Mentor and develop team members. Manage project teams and ensure the value of delivery, execution, quality assurance, and adherence to budgets and timelines
  • Work with stakeholders, business people, and internal project team to understand business needs, interpret information and reporting requirements and perform testing on customized technology platforms and ERP systems
  • Provide consulting services in the areas of strategy, technology implementation, business transformation, analytics and data, technology support, business process optimization
  • Test, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system processes
  • Provide functional and or technical assistance on each project through all phases to ensure a successful project: from initiation/planning through execution/delivery
  • Track and manage budgets and expenses for the team as required

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

Successful Candidate will have:

  • 5-7 years of proven consulting and/or Real Estate industry experience required. Background in Accounting a nice to have. 
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of relevant experience) required; Masters’ degree a plus but not required
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically, based on client needs
  • Significant experience with Yardi General Ledger/Accounting module
  • Significant experience in one or more additional core modules within Yardi Systems, RealPage, or MRI Software. Modules include Commercial Management, Residential Management, Affordable, Senior Housing, Construction/Job Cost, Maintenance, Budgeting and Forecasting, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Accounts Payable. 
  • Expert familiarity with one or more of the core modules for the industry-leading solutions, Yardi, RealPage, and/or MRI
  • Consulting skills and demonstrated experience in building strong customer relationships. Strong negotiation, conflict management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, organizational, and time management skills
  • Experience coaching and developing junior staff. Experience managing others.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment, Including Excel, Word, OneNote, Visio, MS Project, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and identify future consulting opportunities
  • Strong business writing and verbal communication skills
  • PMP or Scrum Master Certified is a plus but not required
