We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Transaction Advisory Director to join the national team in one of our CohnReznick offices or virtually.

YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our rapidly growing Transaction Advisory Services group. This team conducts due diligence and supports clients across a wide range of industries. As a member of this team, you’ll not only have the opportunity to interact with clients but also to interact with team members across all levels within the practice.

YOUR ROLE. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develop, build, and operationalize healthcare industry revenue cycle client services practice
  • Identify clients and generate revenue to provide services related to development of policies, objectives, and initiatives to optimize client’s financial performance, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Develop reviews for structure, integrity, optimization including assessments and implementation planning.
  • Design operational, coding, documentation, billing and compliance due diligence reviews, standards, litigation support and revenue integrity consulting.
  • Review, design and implement processes for admissions, pricing, billing, third party payer relationships, compliance, collections and other financial analyses to ensure revenue cycle is effective and properly utilized.
  • Develops data mining, benchmarking and analysis for process improvement opportunities.
  • Develops processes for clients to manage relations with payers and provider organization to optimize charge capture, generate high reimbursement rates and low level of denials.
  • Create healthcare industry functional strategies and specific objectives and develop budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure
  • Lead and manage client engagements, including launch management, engagement and resource planning, client meeting facilitation, budget management and development of quality client deliverables
  • Participate in internal and external business development activities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Advisory and Assurance practices focused on the healthcare industry.
  • Coordinate with leadership to understand market threats, insights, and opportunities from their domain perspective
  • Actively assist in the development of new products, solutions, and deliverables for the rapidly changing healthcare industry
  • Provide mentoring and motivate diverse client engagement teams
  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented approach to client engagements
  • Assist in the recruiting, onboarding and mentoring of junior team members as practice grows

YOUR EXPERIENCE. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred including MBA, MHA, MPH, or MPA
  • Significant progressive experience (15+ years) developing and implementing revenue cycle consulting
  • Deep subject matter expertise of industry software, electronic health records, operational processes and workflows, business process/performance protocols, and documentation, coding and billing requirements.
  • Experience in complex healthcare administration environments
  • Experience in business strategy related projects, including implementation
  • Excellent knowledge of industry technology and financial systems
  • Demonstrated experience of building industry practice and track record of generating revenue opportunities
  • Experience managing and developing others
  • Ability to travel
  • Strong ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence internally and externally
  • Strong change management skills
  • Advanced analytical and data manipulation skills
  • Strong negotiation, conflict management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment Including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Active membership in an industry or profession-focused association or organization (e.g., NAHRI, AHIA, AAHAM, HFMA, MGMA, HCCA)
  • Industry or profession-focused certification, or desire to obtain (e.g., CHRI, CHC, FACHE, FHFMA, CRIP, CRCE, CHIAP, etc.)
  • Comfortable presenting industry-focused content to large groups, virtually or in-person
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
