We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Solutions Intake Manager to join the Technology team.

The Solutions/Intake Manager is part of the Business Solutions team at CohnReznick. The Solutions/Intake Manager is accountable for proactively and holistically leading or supporting activities that produce technical direction for managing solutions and desired business outcomes in response to disruptive forces. Solutions include applications, custom developed solutions, processes, interfaces, and information.  The Solutions/Intake Manager also plans and facilitates activities, including daily stand ups, sprint planning, demos, board reviews, project reporting, and retrospectives.

YOUR ROLE.   

Responsibilities include but not limited to:  

    • Understand business drivers and business capabilities (current and future state) and identify corresponding system designs and change requirements to drive targeted business outcomes
    • Design and lead the implementation of a solutions across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on business strategy, business capabilities, and business requirements
    • Manage and develop solutions for a broader scope of projects, working closely with application owners and subject matter experts
    • Provide oversight and direction to engineers, developers, and business analysts within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall application architecture
    • Analyze the business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement (systems of record, differentiation, and innovation)
    • Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models
    • Understand, advocate, and augment the principles of information technology strategies, taking into account how business needs and requirements affect potential outcomes
    • Create and maintain standards/procedures/templates for applications and custom development solutions including overviews, technical design, and artifacts needed for intake into the backlog
    • Coordinate the work of an Agile development team and oversees the software development lifecycle
    • Act as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring that appropriate project process is made
    • Identify and resolve impediments that slow development or prevent the team from meeting established goals or milestones

    YOUR EXPERIENCE.   

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in at least 2 IT solution development disciplines, including application development, middleware, database management or operations and at least 5 years of experience in the other disciplines using
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Business Analysis and/or Project Management/Scrum Master and related tools like Azure DevOps
    • Proven track record working with multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
    • Technical expertise including problem-solving, analytical thinking and debugging skills to handle the most complex issues and problems
    • Perform work with a high degree of latitude under minimal supervision and be able to make decisions regarding solutions, technology, and approach
    • Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter
    • Ability to work as a part of a team, foster teamwork, provide leadership, and being a mentor
    • Practical experience leveraging agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking account of technical debt
